That third image. I would wear that... as a dress or a shirt even a skirt. The thought of slipping into it and enveloping myself in its misty muted-ness is uplifting and makes me smile. I love your photos. Not so sure I like your guests though. They sound a lot like the ones that barge into my home now and again. Perhaps they are friends!
I remember that post. Also, any voice that tells you that people are tired of fog photographs are going to have to go through me. I live vicariously through your images! x
It looked like fog was starting to form last night, so I went over to the lake to find it, but there was none. I was a little disappointed. I think Mr. I is the only one who doesn't like it.
Oh, I know the disappointment. Sometimes we have fog where I live and when I drive a bit out of town to photograph the fog there, it’s gone or wasn’t even there…
As I said before, I know those uninvited guests well. I hope they leave you again soon, but in the meantime, they're dead wrong about people being tired of fog photos. There is no limit to the satisfaction derived from photos of fog.
Your guests’ relatives have been staying with me for quite some time now. They’ve claimed squatter’s rights and are refusing to leave. - Your guests should keep their mouths shut. Your pictures of fog are beautiful!
Thank you, Paul! I agree, it is a perfect filter. Not only because it softens everything, but also because it limits your view, which makes an image so perfectly calm looking.
These are beautiful Susanne - the warm tones and muted colour are gorgeous. Uninvited guests can often be rude and don't know what they're talking about and that is most definitely the case here, so just make Mr I and Mrs P as unwelcome as possible and they’ll soon get the message.
Me, 'll never tire of fog images and fog on the beach is a bonus...in fact fog, a dog and the beach scores top marks every time! 😉🐾😊
Thanks so much. You are right - I try to keep ignoring them as best I can. I am sure they will get bored with me and move on. If not - I am moving to Denmark! 😂
Beautiful, as always! Thanks so much for sharing, Suzanne.
And as for those uninvited guests ... Mr I and Mrs P can buzz off ... you’ve got far better company to keep than two whinging, demanding house pests! I'm sure Fibi will be more than happy to help you chase them out. Shoo, shoo ... off you go now! 🙏💖
Thank you, Deborah! If I can get them to dress up like squirrels, I am sure Fibi would be happy to chase them. But she definitely keeps me busy, which makes me pay less attention to them. I am sure they soon will find someone else to bother. The always do...
As always: soooo beautiful. I love the muted tones!
Thank you, Birgitte! I always love how fog changes the landscape and it’s colours.
no matter what others are saying, fog is beautiful
I agree! Thank you!

Thank you, Yasumi! I love the thought of enveloping myself into this place when I can’t be there.
I never saw the guests as friends. Maybe I need to take a closer look at them…
Anyone who’s lived near the sea should love the fog. Especially on the beach along the dunes.
Even if you don’t live near the sea… I especially watch the fog rolling in - something that I encounter often by the sea.
I'm with you - I like fog photos as well. Hope your uninvited guests depart soon and give you some peace!
I remember that post. Also, any voice that tells you that people are tired of fog photographs are going to have to go through me. I live vicariously through your images! x
Awe, thank you, dear! I am greatful for that! I will do my best to keep the images coming…

Are you better at dealing with them? I might send them over to you, then! 😉
THank you for your kind words. I am relieved to know people are open to more photos of fog!
Haha no! They’re already here with me! But, yes, the fog is good. The fog is always good.

Ugh, I am sorry, Alicia! They can be so obnoxious. I try to ignore them the best I can at the moment. I hope yours will move on soon, too!❤️
Beautiful, Susanne. Fog is a great soft-focus filter...!

😂now that's not a bad option!
This is a beautiful set of photos, Susanne.
Thank you, Ari!
Lovely. I’ll always enjoy these quiet images of fog softening a beautiful scene.
Thank you. I always get so excited when I see the soft light that fog creates.
Lovely pictures, calming and peaceful. Shoot more
Thank you, Vittorio. I am sure I will.
