My Visual Journal #78
November, 4th 2025.
Last year, my in-laws sold their house, and I helped them sell some of the things that they wouldn’t be able to keep. After spending many hours in their basement sorting things out, I decided to go for a walk.
I had totally forgotten about the photos until the other day. Looking at them again now, they make me look forward to autumn.
I started “My Visual Journal” as an addition to my regular newsletter to share the photos I make on my walks during the week. The overall idea is “more photos, fewer words.” Over time, I realized it is also a great way to practice curating, selecting, and sequencing a set of photographs and turning them into a short narrative.
I send out a new edition every other week, alternating with my regular newsletter, which covers various topics but primarily focuses on art, photography, and the creative process.
Here is the link to past editions of “My Visual Journal”.
As always, thank you for being here! ❤️
X,
Susanne
