A big shout out to YOU

yes you!

Dear Readers,

Today I am publishing the 12th edition of this newsletter, and I would like to take a moment to thank you all for being here. I had so many people subscribe to my newsletter that I am a bit overwhelmed. But in a good way.

When I started this newsletter in January, my idea was to use it as a platform to share little stories about my latest musings, artistic explorations and all things I am passionate about. I had grown tired of the constant changes on Instagram and was looking for a way to share photos and stories and keep in touch with people I have connected with over the last couple of years. Substack sounded like a great way to do this. I would never have thought that so many of you would take the time to read my newsletter, subscribe to it or even would pay for a subscription. Every time I receive a new subscription, Substack sends me an Email. And every time, my heart skips a beat. I can’t tell you how happy this makes me and how honored I am that you take the time to read my newsletter every week. It means so much to me. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

In case you are here for the first time and haven’t read anything else yet, you might want to start with my little introduction. And if you haven’t subscribed yet, but are curious to read more, you are more than welcome to subscribe.

Thanks for reading My Morning Muse! Subscribe for free to receive new posts and support my work.

And now to something completely different. (insert a Monty Python Meme here)

I made a zine!1 It is called “Winter Poetry” and includes 16 black and white photographs from my series of flowers in winter. I am pretty happy how it turned out and thought I would share it with you in a little video. Please leave a comment about what you think of it.

I decided to make 20 prints of them as a limited edition. If you would like to get your own copy, hop over to my website to order one.

But enough of my shameless self-promotion today. Instead, I will end this newsletter today with a photo of my dog Ben who always makes me smile and is always game when I have one of my silly photo ideas! No worries! No dog was harmed during the shoot, and he was paid in treats for being such a ‘good boy’!

And as always: Thank you for being here.

Susanne

A zine is a self-published print-work (usually a brochure) in a limited edition
