I totally get that. My husband and I and Gracie drove down to Florida a few years ago. It was around a 19 hour drive. Hotels that except pets are increasing. Savannah Georgia is really pet friendly. We were able to take Gracie on a trolley car tour, and all of the restaurants we went to had outdoor seating that allowed dogs. On the trolley car she sat on the seat and enjoyed the tour ☺️ There was also another dog on the tour🥰
It looks wonderful. I love the architecture and the countryside of European countries. I would like to see Italy one day.
It's especially nice you could bring Ben. My husband and I will be leaving for Sweden in two weeks. I just hate having to leave Gracie behind , and having to board her.

Thank you, Deb! We could have taken an airplane and would have been in here in 4 hours or so. But instead we drove for 14 hours only so Ben could be with us. Yes, it wouldn‘t be the same without my dog. Even if it means you have to drive for two days from the northern end of Germany (because I would never fly with my dog) - all worth it.
