I grew up in what I refer to as "corn country" which is Central Illinois. Making the drive back from the North Chicago suburbs I now reside in, I sometimes refer to it as "the most boring drive on earth". So many of the scenes you captured in your video are familiar and yet, being native to the land makes it easy to overlook its beauty. You have truly captured the essence of longing in your video and collage work.
I totally understand what you are saying. It is easy to get used to what you see daily and overlook scenes or things just because you have seen them a thousand times. I make the same experience in my country. But I am glad you that I was successful in expressing myself through my art! Thank you for your feedback. It means a lot to me!
