Wow, you've achieved this very well, Susanne. I looked at it top to bottom and bottom to top and it works incredibly well both ways. I prefer the bottom to top way, it gives it a little bit more tension and mystery. Congratulations!
Xavi, I so love your comment. The sequence is almost in the order I have made the photographs. I didn‘t think about looking at them bottom to top. Brilliant. Thank you for sharing!
I really enjoyed these - especially “walking” up to that first boulder and taking a close look at it :) “Photography is not all seeing in the sense that the eyes see.” I was just journaling some thoughts about this today, as I enjoy playing with focus and lighting sometimes to create images that are much different than what I see in front of me but better capture what I feel while looking at it :)
What stunning photographs and captivating descriptions!
Hello, I couldn't help but subscribe to this publication as soon as I read it. It falls perfectly into the category of publications that I thoroughly enjoy. While I take pleasure of reading the other posts I look forward to seeing more breathtaking photography and engaging write-ups from you :) Keep up the fantastic work! 😊
Wonderful! I had a great conversation with someone about Adams after your last newsletter. I think so many photographers—myself included—resist multiple photos of the same subject/scene/moment. This is a nice reminder that it can be done well and can serve a purpose. What a sense of motion—of walking!—one gets from seeing images sequenced like this.
Thank you, Zachary! You should really try it sometime for yourself. Not only is it an interesting experience for the viewer, but also for yourself as the photographer.
I love these images. It truly feels like I went on a walk with you. There is so much to see when you go on a walk, a lot that seems ordinary but contains so much beauty. I particularly love the image of the few leaves on the rock. Also, dogs are the best walking buddies.

Thank you, Sydney! That is what I love so much about photography - it allows us to see the world differently! ♥️

Arundathi, thank you for your kind comment. It is good to have you here! I am so happy you enjoyed this little series. There will be more! =)
These are beautiful, but your dog above the stairway and the image just after it from below - both made me smile!
That is great to hear. Thank you!
Enjoyed the walk with you.😀
So happy you did, Laura! ☺️
Even before reading your words I already figured out you were playing with Adams' sequencing, and you've done quite okay I guess. Like this approach.
Ha! Thank you!
Hola , Éste Artículo Fue Un Agradable Paseo. Excelentes Fotografías. Un Saludo.
Muchas Gracias!
You succeeded in your experiment, it felt as though as I was on the walk too!
Wonderful! Thank you for your feedback, Andrew!

Manuela, thank you so much for walking with me. And yes, dogs are the best walking buddies. ♥️
