Hey,

I am back from my little getaway by the sea in beautiful Denmark where we waited quietly for the new year to come. And just as we drove back home to Germany yesterday, Denmark was hit by a heavy snowstorm. As we headed home, we passed several trucks and cars that had veered off the snowy roads or got stuck in snowdrifts. It was crazy. And although I am happy we made it home safely and in one piece, I wish we could have stayed a little longer to enjoy all the snow now. But we had a wonderful time - so need to complain…

For this week, I decided to share a few photos from our hikes in the dunes and at the beach which you hopefully enjoyed. In two weeks I will share the photographs from the woods we visited.

I started “My Visual Journal” as an addition to my regular newsletter to share the photos I have taken during the week on my walks. The overall idea is “more photos, less words”. It will be send out every other week, alternating with my regular newsletter which is about different topics, but mainly about art, photography and the creative process.
