I've been in hiding since I subscribed to your newsletters (and others) and I'm doing a bit of catching up (which I'm thoroughly enjoying...)
I love these photos... Sometimes I find black and white... a bit black and white? But these are beautiful - there's a nice light and softness that takes me directly to my own memories of these beaches, which was about 6 years ago now...
I was wondering if you'd be open to me sharing them in a future post of Three Things Weekly?
Thank you, Xavi! I have not shared photographs from that beach before, but Denmarks beaches have a similar mood. It possible you find similarities here.
wonderful series Susanne, you seem to be able to get the trees to collaborate with you in such a wonderful graphic composition full of character and individual identities, yet all very much apart of your visual story this week. thank you
Thank you, Rick! This beach is so fantastic because of it’s trees (you don’t often find trees along beaches here in Germany). The quiet scenery of the beach is the perfect stage for the trees to present themselves. Happy to hear you enjoyed it.
Thank you Susanne! As always fabulous photos. Curious, was the person in the water fishing?
Thank you! And yes, he was fishing. Didn‘t see him catching anything thought…
My question too
Love the video and the photographs! Absolutely serene.
Thank you, Shital! It was a perfect morning.
of course i like to see ben in the photos and the "frame" suits but the 6th photo of that tree on the beach is absolutely awesome!
Thank you, Thank you!
Love the model in your last shot. :-)
He is the best! ☺️

Wonderful atmospheric shots Susanne, love how you framed the guy fishing or bathing?
Have you shared photos of this place before? It looks familiar.
Thank you, Xavi! I have not shared photographs from that beach before, but Denmarks beaches have a similar mood. It possible you find similarities here.
