August is the Sunday of summer
“August is the Sunday of summer.”
August 11th 2024.
I remembered that quote on my walk today. The sun was shining, the air was warm but not so much that you wouldn't want to be outside. Fluffy clouds were floating high up in the sky, bringing a bit of shade from time to time. The grasses and leaves have started ever so slightly turning from green to all kinds of yellows and browns. Ripe fruits have fallen from the trees, offering a sweet buffet to the birds and insects.
The change is noticeable, but I -as a lover of autumn- am looking forward to it.
I started “My Visual Journal” as an addition to my regular newsletter to share the photos I have taken during the week on my walks. The overall idea is “more photos, less words”. It will be send out every other week, alternating with my regular newsletter which is about different topics, but mainly about art, photography and the creative process.
