I have walked by these trees and photographed them so often in the past. That morning, I realized that the fence actually would make a great frame. It shows it is always worth looking - even in places you have been so many times before.
Thank you, Todd! I have walked by the scene so often and always photographed through the fence. That morning, something made me look different at the scene. It is always worth challenging yourself and photographing the same places.
Lovely images Susanne - I'm with Soren, those three trees through the fence were crying out to be photographed...fabulous! Is it me or does Ben have a very questioning look on his face in that last shot?!
Every time, you get some emotion from me with these images. That first and fifth image literally asked me to breathe... I did pause and breathe (and smile). And then there was Ben! He always catches me by surprise. I can't believe I keep forgetting that he shows up. I get caught up in the walk and boom, there he is and then I giggle a little. Lovely photos, Susanne.
Thank you for your kind comment, Juliette! It makes me happy to year it makes you smile, breathe and feel! That is exactly what I do one most of these walks.
Also, it wouldn’t be “My Visual Journal” without Ben… 😉
The little *chomp* sound Ben did was so adorable! Loved the little trees framed by the wire. The sound of your morning walk is so beautiful Susanne. Wishing you the best of the best days.
Haha, either Ben sniffles or makes or funny sounds. But yes, it is adorable! ♥️ Thank you for your feedback. It is one of our favorite places nearby. Always very peaceful and quiet…

I love the video! I watched it once, then played it again while going through your pictures once more, to enjoy the birds and the feel of the forest. It's really neat.

I guess his question was “Do I now, that I have looked into your camera, get a treat?” 😉
😂
Always great getting these! And those trees!
Glad to hear that, Dan! Thank you!
The poochie woochie and the chirping 😍 you’re watching him and he’s watching you it seems.
