Those are wonderful, Susanne!! I love the colors creating such cohesion, along with the subject matter. And once again, Ben pops up and broke my concentrated glare into a big smile!! Love it! p.s. isn't it late in the year for so much fog?
I especially like your sensibility and courage to make photos of these conditions which obviously touched lots of your readers. Also the intermingling of photos of soft fogginess which are soothing with some sharp and pointed wakeup images which woke me up. Like taking a walk with you.
Thank you for your feedback, Marian! I had many more very foggy landscape images, but I needed to add a bit of contrast (Ben, the grass, the feather) to have a bit of a mix - as you said so well „to wake people up“ a little, but still maintain the overall calm and quietness of this sequence.
This--especially that mysterious structure in the fog--reminds me a bit of the vibe of a prose poetry book by Robert Macfarlane called ness, about the landscape of Orford Ness in Suffolk, where there's an abandoned nuclear testing facility and also nature.
Thank you, Ernest! I am afraid this was the last foggy day for a while. Now I’ll have to wait until fall, because we usually don’t get fog in the summer.
Muted colours, the separation of fog, trees - beautiful Susanne!
Thank you, James! It means a lot!
These images are like a whisper. - So lovely
What a lovely description, Alicia! Thank you for your comment.
Absolutely mesmerizing collection!
Thank you so much, Jennifer!
What a blessing of fog to make some wonderful images!
Thank you, Hanz! Fog is so rare here, it always feels like a blessing!
Such a peaceful morning walk. The fog is so inviting and your photographs convey the mood well. Thanks, Susanne!
Happy you think so! It was a lovely morning.

Beautiful, love the misty look.
Thanks, Janice! Happy you like them!
Wow, you have so totally done it this time. Wow, Susanne! So inspiration, so perfect. Those “guests” must have seen the light and departed!!
These were made before my „guests“ arrived. But thank you for your kind words!

What a gorgeous collection Susanne😀
Thank you! ☺️
It's as if you've chanced upon another world. Wonderful captures!
It definitely felt like it. Especially because I know how different that place looks without the fog!
Love the tones in these images Susanne, they are so beautiful.
Thank you, Gill! Winter and foggy conditions makes the best combo for a colour palette like this, I find!
Some beautiful images here...I wish I had a few foggy mornings like yours...
