Week 31
This is the first attempt at sharing a sequence of photos I have created, not from a single walk, but from different moments over one week. If you are wondering where the change is coming from, I wrote about it last week.
I started “My Visual Journal” as an addition to my regular newsletter to share the photos I make during the week. The overall idea is “more photos, fewer words.” Over time, I realized it is also a great way to practice curating, selecting, and sequencing a set of photographs and turning them into a short narrative.
I send out a new edition every other week, alternating with my regular newsletter, which covers various topics but primarily focuses on art, photography, and the creative process.

Last week, I invited everyone to another round of “Call & Response”.1 This time I chose this image:
If you feel inspired by this photo and would like to collaborate, you can create a response (or pick something you have already made) and send it to me. It doesn’t have to be a photo — it could be a drawing, a collage, poetry, or other writing, whatever feels right to you. I’ll then pair it with my photograph and share all the results in my newsletter next Thursday.
