That's a horrible condition to have and quite scary when it first happens - I'm glad to hear you're fully recovered Susanne. When we get floored by something like this it does make us appreciate this amazing body we live in and how fragile it is. Your photograms are beautiful - I particularly like the second one with the bottle and 'falling' petals, it's so delicate.

Thank you, Lin. It really amazing how strong and fragile our bodies can be at the same time.

Happy you like the photos.

Glad to hear you are OK. Your words and photos speak to life's fragility and fleetingness. There are deep emotions attached to such moments and they can take a while to process. Be kind to yourself in the coming months. Personally, I had to relearn to walk all over again courtesy of post heart transplant nerve damage. I remember watching other patients in rehab walking up a mock flight of 3 stairs and for months that felt like Mt Everest. Thankfully we do sometimes recover somewhat over the course of time.

You are so right about the emotions. They still linger. I hope you have fully recovered or at least are on a good path! That sounds so much more complicated and exhausting. Thank you for sharing your story with me! I wish you all the best!

Wow, what an extraordinary (in the scariest way possible) experience. It sounds like it was a long, painful struggle both physically and mentally. I love the creative way you were able to finally create images out of the ordeal. The results you shared are very cool as well as, for me after reading about your journey through ill health, tinged with melancholy. I was very happy to read that you’ve fully recovered. 💐

There is nothing more frightening than a sudden onset of vertigo! No matter what the cause, it is what discombobulation is and our bodies can’t function when it occurs. Stay well!💐

Thank you, Cathi! It was frightening and I am grateful that I received help fast!

Susanne, first I am so happy you are recovered! We are indeed complex beings and vulnerable. Our superpower I think is that as immediate as the realization is, we do sort it out soon enough to be fearless again - and you are. As well as a natural creative who does stunning work. These are beautiful. The tulips especially very moving.

Glad you are well again Susanne ... love the photograms - I used to loads of these back when I had a darkroom - and i'm now wondering where they've gone ... might have to brave the various cupboards and under loft storage spaces to see if I can find any ... !

What a scary thing to go through! I'm so glad you are back to normal and that your condition was readily diagnosed and fixed. The tulip photograms are beautifully expressive of what you went through.

Ah...i hate that you can't edit typos on your own comments from a phone. "So relieved you have recovered."

No problem. I figured it out.

And yes, I hate that too.

I'm so sorry you were not well. Dizziness, and the extreme to which you experienced it, is a debilitating experience. It's good to hear you are feeling back to normal, and what a beautiful outcome. I love the photograms!!

What a horrible experience Susanne - I am glad to hear you are fully recovered, but it must have been a difficult time.

Your photograms are really beautiful. I am so impressed that you could create something so wonderful when you must have been feeling so fragile.

Thank you, Gill! I was so relieved, when I started to feel better and was able to get up and do something again. In the first days, all I could do was laying down with my eyes closed. I had lots of time to think about what I wanted to create.

Happy you like them.

So pleased you are on the mend Suzanne. To have something so fundamental as balance taken away so randomly and unexpectedly is very scary. Beautiful images
